Our history
Gazzed began as a small side project: a handful of beauty and hair care write-ups published for friends who kept asking which products were actually worth the money. The answers were longer and more useful than a text message allowed, so they became articles.
Readers arrived through search, then stayed for the wider mix — food, fashion, interiors, gardens and travel. Over the years the archive has grown into well over a hundred in-depth guides and features, all written in the same plain, unhurried voice we started with.
Today Gazzed remains independently run and reader-funded through advertising and a small number of clearly labelled sponsored contributions.
Our mission
We publish the kind of lifestyle writing that respects your time: no filler, no twenty-item lists padded to hit a word count, and no recommendations we would not make to a friend. Every guide sets out to answer one question properly.
- Useful before fashionable. Advice you can act on this week.
- Honest about money. Sponsored and paid guest contributions are always disclosed.
- Written by people. Real experience, real testing, real opinions.
- Kept current. Popular guides are revisited and updated as things change.
Editorial standards
Articles are researched, edited and fact-checked before publication. Where a piece includes an affiliate or sponsored link, that relationship never decides the verdict. If we get something wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
