How the matching score works
Each first name is scored out of 100 against your surname. Names gain points for a contrasting syllable rhythm, a smooth vowel-to-consonant handover and a shared cultural origin, and lose points when the first name ends on the same sound the surname begins with, when the two endings rhyme, or when the full name becomes a mouthful. It's a guide to how a name sounds out loud — trust your ear for the final call.
